I got asked by my school to build a highend audio-visual workstation (editing, Premiere Pro, etc.) for them... here's what I worked out... I avoided the Quadro CX because the benefits of the Quadro CX in rendering were evened out by the two quad cores.... the only thing I'm worried about are the Mobo+RAM combo... will they work okay? General comments welcome as well.:

Links you posted don't work. I googled the model you typed, and luckily since it was a typo , the only result that came up for me was your post at bit-tech with the right link.....from the looks of it..they should be compatible but I won't quote myself just in case im wrong.

From Kingston's website, yeah they should be. Check out link below for compatible Kingston memory. Most memory manufacturers have a similar tool. Try checking Crucial, etc, website to check for compatibility.

Pay attention to the ranks (single-rank, double-rank, quad-rank, etc). Aside from the maximum memory on your motherboard, I remember reading somewhere that the rankings also affect how much memory you can add.
