ATI Crossfire Question

Post by Kyuzo »

Hi,
I have the ATI 4850 which is hooked up to two monitors. I want to get a second 4850. Can I still use my dual monitors when I have two video cards? Also when you do crossfire do you have to get that DVI Y-Cable so I would need two of them or do I just use one croffsire bridge instead. Thanks.

I have seen some people use one crossfire bridge on two cards and others use two bridges. Dose it make a difference? Thanks.

Not that I'm aware of. Mine works just fine with the signal bridge. I was under the impression that the second Crossfire port was for connecting a 3rd or 4th card.
