New ATI HD 4650

I just installed a new ATI hd 4650 video card in my computer, (running XP). When I installed the driver I click on install 64 bit driver, (thinking of my other machine). all went well until my machine restarted!!! Just a black screen now?? I hadn't disabled my onboard video, so shut everything down removed the new video card and restarted, get a post screen then all goes black again?

Sounds like the driver didn't get installed all the way. Can you hit F6 and enter safe mode when booting the system? You should be able to do this and then remove/reinstall the driver.

That should get you back on course!

Yep go into safe mode and run driver cleaner pro to completely remove the old video card driver, then reinstall the proper driver and you should be set.
