For some reason when I play games, I have to look down for the front speaker to work right, with music it's crystal clear with all 5.1 speakers. Also in games my sound is EXTREMELY muffled in the rear channels. I have no idea what's going on any ideas?

I know it's a cheap card, but my onboard was doing the exact same thing so I wanted to test out if it was my onboard.

well if your on-board and the sound card are doing it, I'd say maybe try a new set of speakers if possible. maybe reinstall the audio drivers(im sure you've done that already though)

yea I tried it, just weird! No idea how looking down should affect making the sound louder, or why the back channels are so muffled

This wouldn't by chance be happening in a Source engine game would it? I had this problem with HL2 and CSS before.

Mainly FarCry 2 is the most noticeable.

You using the RealTek HD Audio Codec?

it loaded yes... lol let me try to fix that
