That looks pretty useful! He is giving away a lot of information for someone trying to sell a book...

Nice find. I downloaded the PDF for the 8 flowcharts. Never know, may need them some day.

I found this site(supportrix.com) that a friend highly recommended. Its a good find.

Or just learn most things like I did...
1) Decide to upgrade something
2) Break the intended upgrade
3) Research the hell out he issue and narrow the issues down
4) Eventually fix the issue with another new item
5) Retain that information or continue to break things

Lessons are better learned the hard way. Some issues end up being costly & a pain to replace (broken hardware) while others end up being fixes you remember to try next time you see a similar problem again.
