The people who put ads in computer magazines (PC Gamer, MaxPC etc.) saying "Cutting Edge Gamer Systems" that have FX5200 graphics...ROFL! (paired with A64 3500+, 1GB DDR400 and other "good" stuff.)

Yeah, just today I was reading a magazine and it was chocked full of things like that. There was a system similar to the one you used as an example for a good deal more money than it was worth. I just kinda stood their in the store and chuckled to myslef.

I wish i had one of those 1337 Geforce FX 5200's in my gaming system. The cards low profile increase aerodynamics, thus lowering temperatures and the lower weight 4-Layer PCB sheds excess pounds from the system again making it run faster than other PC's with bigger cards such as the 7800GTX. If you use Mothers Wax on the case it will also reduce air drag on the paint and make you run faster in BattleField 2, which is something we all need. I gotta run now as I'm changing my front intake fan from a 80mm to a 40mm to conserve my wattage because the less the fans consume the more wattage the CPU gets, again making it faster...

woooohooo

:axe:

P.S. this was all a joke smile!

oh yeah, don't forget to change to dial-up, so you won't have an external modem to deal with, once again giving it at least another 1 HP, rofl! :P

Yeah and dump the super-large hard drives. They generate too much heat and make youir system slow. You're better off with 100 20GB drives (external USB 1.1)!

Yeah, and don't forget the old PnP expansion card, that makes the airflow better in the case, again lowering your temps, rofl :bs: :nut kick: :bitchslap:

With this card i can't even play 800x600 !!!

Unless i can play 1280x1024 or above --> no point

Sure even then, I find all the games out now BORING.
I used to love far cry, Doom3-> yawn. Haven't got BF2, working on it ;)

I've heard good things in the forum about BF2, I've haven't been able to get my hands on a copy yet. Really, there's no point until I get my system built, cuz the spare system is a biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig POS, lol (try some ancient technology like the AMD K6-2 @ 500MHz, a whopping 184 MB of PC 133 SDRAM, rofl, and the funniest thing: a 60 GB 7200RPM maxtor HDD). So obviously, this thing will never see any sort of gaming, period!!!! lol

Oh, don't get me wrong, it can run a Super Nintendo emulator and ROM's, but they don't take up much memory when being used, nor do they eat HDD space (unless, of course, you have a ROM of every SNES game ever made, rofl, which I've never been able to find that many). If I can find FF5 and a decent emulator, I'm in heaven for right now, lol. It'll get old when I have der uber-rig goin, then it's on to Medal of Honor: European Assault, HL2, Doom 3, etc, etc, etc.
