Be carefull of these e-mails from DHL

Post by nightblood »

Quite a few of my clients have been getting e-mails from DHL that look like this.
It comes from DHL Delivery Services [email protected]

With a subject DHL Delivery Problem NR.01796

Dear customer!

We were not able to deliver the package you have sent on the 17th of July in time because the recipient’s address is wrong.
Please print out the invoice copy attached and collect the package at our department.

DHL Delivery Services.

It has a zipped attachment with an exe inside of it.

the exe installs a virus if executed.

its funny that you put up this warning, as i just got back home from a weekend long venture to find two of these very e-mails in my inbox, obviously its something thats picking up... and as smack323 stated common sense is key here as i have never shipped ANYTHING via DHL.
