Which NoteBook?

Hey im looking for a notebook for use at university etc. Im thinking something along the lines of an Eee PC but i want something with a little more power than the stock EEE pc. any suggestions?

Well if you're set on a netbook, the performance will be pretty similar no matter which netbook you get (Intel atom z270,280,520 etc are all pretty slow compared to current C2Ds). Personally, I also started university this year and was debating on whether to get a netbook or a low end notebook. The netbook in question was about $350, while the laptop with a T4200 15.6" Lenovo was $460. The small profile wasn't TOO important for me, so I just went with the notebook. If size is very important for you, and you want a small portable laptop with more power than a netbook, you probably need to dish out more cash. Something like a SU2700 CPU maybe.

Skip the netbook. If I had to go back to college and write a report on a 10" screen at 1024X600 I would've thrown it out a window.

Lol ok then guys. Im thinking now low end mac book?
