That's a good happening in your area even with this economy being tanked.

With Circuit City now gone in our area, Office Max and the Office Depot are miles away. Radio Shack is the closest to me.

Having one of those store in our area would help.

Is this the same MicroCenter company that advertised in the Computer Shopper magazine when the magazine was super thick?

within 60 miles the best thing i have is a single radio shack that only carries parts that are 10 years or older(you can tell by the 1/8" of solid dust on EVERYTHING in the place) then farther than that the only thing is best buy, which is the best place to get electronics in my state. no microcenter's, no comp usa's, nothing. what do those stores look like inside? i've only been to best buy really

Damn that sucks, in Houston there are 3 Frys, 1 Microcenter, Directron, and the other usual suspects.

I used to order stuff from Directron all the time back when they actually carried modding parts. But now it seems like they don't really care about the enthusiast community anymore and I find myself buying from places like Sidewinder.
