I was planning, in the new year, to get myself a better case to replace the one i have. I have been looking round but not sure what to get so thought that posting here would me choose. I'm looking for a case with good air flow preferably side, front and rear fans any extra would be nice all of around £80 top price!

Cases are like a pair of shoes, what I might like you may hate and vice versa. Find one you like in that price range.

yeah, you find one or two that you like the appearance of and can afford, and post 'em up and we'll say if the features are great or if they're not worth it 8)

My Antec 900 (the first version) is super quiet and cool.
Got it with a rebate for 60 US
But the main thing is the quiet, the big fan on the top makes no noise at all!
If you are paying 80 pounds for a case, check on the ones with big fans, they really help.

The AZZA Solano 1000 is a awesome case for airflow that's right around that price range. Just so happens that Shane has already written a review about it here :) Here's the link:

Also some prices from the Egg:

Of course, there are plenty of other cases in the price range, but this one is a pretty good one for the money. Hope that helps!

after looking these are what i found i would like. they are alll close in cooling fans but each has there own designs so tell me what you would pick and why!

I'd say the HAF would be worthwhile especially seeing how little more it is over the 900. I've build many systems with the 900 and it is a SOLID choice but I think the HAF is just more customizable.

Either of those would be a good choice though!

Coolermaster uses quieter fans than Antc. And I believe that HAF has a 250MM fan for the side intake.

Coolermaster HAF-932 - beast of a case that can hold water cooling and whatever else you want to throw at it - plus it has wheels =)

the haf 922 has a 200mm side fan same as the avenge the reason i added the avenge case is that my mate has the downgraded version of this and he gets nice cooling and it quite. plus the price is fair, but then the haf has better fans and is more customisable however, the price £20 more.

No fans on the side but this one has 2 on the top.

I like the HAF922, you can even cram water cooling into it if you ever decide to go that route.

I like Antec cases. They are higher quality and they last. A few of the computers I built 6 years ago died and I was able to reuse the Antec cases for new components.

+1--The HAF922 is a nice case..Roomy inside for easy cable mangement and it has very good airflow through the case keeping your overall temps down..

i'm using a NZXT Lexa S and it's a fantastic case. airflow is good, but your motherboard needs 4 3-pin fan connectors if you want to fully utilize every one of the included fans.

I'm using an Antec 1200, which is pretty roomy and cool. If we're taking price into consideration, however, I would recommend the Azza Solana, which has almost identical features for a much lower price.

Corsair has a pretty impressive case on the market now. They seem to be targeting H2O cooling users but they should do pretty good on air too.

So far the 922 HAF has still got me pinned. If you think you can swing me round to another case then keep them coming in!
