Couple things...
1) Make sure you are getting the right RAM for your motherboard (DDR2 or DDR3).
2) I would personally skip the Velociraptor. To me it's days are numbered like the Omega Zip Drive. It is stuck in limbo. On the bottom end you can get near the performance of a Velociraptor with a traditional 7200 RPM drive. On the top end you have SSD drives that blow the drive out of the water. If I were you I'd either spend less and get a 2TB drive or spend a few dollars more and get a SSD.

For me 600gb was too much as i install all the games i have and not delete them unless i don't play it anymore at all.... 128gb isn't enough and 600gb is abbit much but its nice to have extra space, and unlike ssd's it doesn't slow down when it gets close to maximum capacity... also best for price/speed/memory ratio...
and i've changed the memory so thats covered:)

HDD's slow down too, just in a consistant way.

Otherwise, the list looks alright. :-)

The bigger the drive the less noticeable drive degradation I've noticed. When you're using less than 20% (my opinion) the performance stays pretty consistent, especially if you periodically defrag the drive to put everything on the outer platters.

the AMD Black Edition RAM from OCZ is killer, i have the 16oomhz installed in my system, and it is just amazingly fast. download AMD Overdrive for the memory profiles for a pre-set overclock, so to speak. http://game.amd.com/us-en/drivers_overdrive.aspx though i am not so sure 800-series chipsets are supported yet. good luck!
