Hoping to get the Corsair TX 750Watt power supply soon as i got some birthday money today and i know that my current rig can easily run on this power supply. My current power supply whenever i run a high end graphical game or stress test my systm powers off so i have been needing a new PSU for sometime!
Anyway some questions i need answers to!

How much amperage does the 9800gt in SLI require?

How much amperage does the GTX 470 (single) require?

Also of the topic of power supplies, my 2 GPU's are currently in 8x due to my motherboard but how much increase in performance do i get from a single 9800gt in 16x to 9800gt SLI in 8x?

Also 9800gt SLI 8x to 9800gt SLI 16x?

GeForce 9800 GT = 26Amps on the +12V rail.

GeForce GTX 470 = 38Amps on the +12V rail.

You are better off running 2x8X vs 1x16X (in your current setup). If you lose anything going from 16X to 8X it shouldn't be more than a few FPS.
