Hard Drive issue

Post by Tim Burton »

Image

I have been having this problem for the longest time.

I tried to uninstall the driver and then plug it all back in. Nothing works.

I noticed this though:

When I manage the disks, it sees the disk and reformats it, but up top, it doesn't assign it a letter. I've tried assigning it a letter, but I can't find that option in the format selection.

Any help on how to fix this would greatly be appreciated I need this fixed by tomorrow.

Thanks,

In the Disk Management section right click on the drive box->assign drive letter. Sounds like it isn't using a drive letter for system restore purposes, ala OEM partitions with the restore software.
