I can't imagine 1ms being any better than the 3ms I have. But who knows.

Re: 27" 1ms HDMI LCD?
I've been using a SCEPTRE X270W-1080P Black 27" 2ms Widescreen LCD Monitor for some time now and I'm completely pleased with it. I got it at Cosco for $270 on sale, so it was a great deal. Best part is that if there is anything wrong with it at all, Cosco will take it back, no questions asked.

Looked at it side by side with an HP 2710M at Frys a few weeks back. They had them hooked up to Desktops right next to each other, the HP looked a lot better , the contrast and color.
Which I think matters more, so I bought the HP.
I can not tell the difference between the HPs 2.5ms response time, and my ViewSonic 24 inchs 5ms response time. I dont see any lag or ghosting on either; which I can notice on my old 20inch Dells from 2004.
Im of the opinion the 1ms thing is a marketing gimmick and you wont be able to tell the difference.

Re: 27" 1ms HDMI LCD?
Many companies measure the response time differently and as mentioned, will use the best score to market the product.

Ya, I noticed that as well, but I messed around with the setting with my wife and got hem to look just the same.Sttm wrote:Looked at it side by side with an HP 2710M at Frys a few weeks back.
