Kill A Watt EZ Display Questions

Santa brought me a Kill A Watt EZ for Christmas and so far I've figured out most of it. I have entered in our cost per KW/H. Now I can see how much everything costs over the course of a week, month and year. In the voltage section I have most of it figured out.
Watt - How many watts the plugged in item is pulling.
Amp - The amp load on the plug from the item that's plugged in.
Volt - How much power the wall outlet/plug is providing to the device.
Hz - The Hz frequency from the wall outlet/plug.
There are two other settings in there I don't understand what they are reading or how it's important to me. The user's manual is one piece of printer paper folded 3 ways and doesn't tell me a whole lot. A Google search later I'm still in the dark.
The settings I don't know what they are is P.F. and VA/Apparent Power according to the Spartan manual.
