I realized this was a continuation of many debates between AMD and Intel, but I was just curious.
lol that last option was for fun but yeah you can still post and indicate it ;p

It's just too bad I'm limited to a proprietary SFF motherboard with no OCing options and crappy RAM. I could probably easily crank this thing up to 3.2ghz or even 3.4ghz.
As of now though, I can only push the FSB from within Windows and get 2.6ghz before it gets unstable.

I can get 2.6 with stock HSF and 1.35v (stock is 1.3v) - super cool too, never goes over 52C and fan never hits 100% (this is after 6hrs dual prime95!)
It will be H2O cooled soon so hoping for 2.8 (2x FX57's under 1 roof...
)

was amd1900+ untill a nice bunch of guys (legit reviews) did a hardware talk at a lan, and I walked away with an intel 560j 3.6... amd out intel in.

AMD K6-2 500 MHz..........w00t, roflmfao....on dusty stock cooling in a POS compaq system, which I think I blew a cap in my PSU last night because I heard something pop pretty loudly, though nothing happened after it did
if only bludgeoning the head of a crappy company was legal, lol
