Want to buy a netbook

Budget is $400

Purpose:
1. Internet Surfing
2.word or excel processing
3. Dreamweaver/flash etc No photoshop
4. Little bit gaming (fifa11 if possible)
5. music

Requiremnt:
1. light weigth < 1.3kg
2. Battery life > 3 hrs

i have these in mind
1. Degee I8B11D4 10.2" Netbook

2. Samsung N260-JP03 10.1" Netbook

Not on a netbook.

From the sound of your requirements be sure you get one with the ION 2. It's a much better option than the Intel video installed on other netbooks.

I think the only netbook that has a chance at gaming near that price is HPs dm1z, which is $450 on their website. It runs AMDs new E-350 Fusion APU and it does a passable job in a lot games, though not good still a great deal better then the Atom netbooks.

55 fps on Low settings it seems. "Less demanding games, particularly FIFA 11, prove to be playable on a low setting." If you can manage that cost it will do everything you need.

Another lap top but it is not 400USD it is more like 650 USD is one I am looking at here i am not getting it for gaming purposes (more for schooling reasons with added bonuses), but a dedicated video card definitely is a plus. Not to mention having a Quad core CPU with 4 gigs of memory upgradeable to 8 gigs
