need helps asap

I got a new AMD X2 and ATI x850, installed and now windows hangs at boot from cd. So i am trying to do a fresh install of windows and now it hangs at inspecting hardware config.
PLEASE HELPS ASAP, i am on my pos laptop trying to get this to work!!!!!
yes i have flashed my bios on my abit av8 and yes i know my windows cd works, i used it last install. THANK YOU!!!!
edit// ok this is really wierd, i have 2 WD raptors 36, and when they are plugged in it doesnt work, because when i unplug them everything boots and will run into windows install. But when they are plugged in, nothing boots right?!?!?!?! anyone heard of anything like this, or have a fix?!?!?!?!!!?
edit// when i unplug the sata cables it works, so i know its not a power issue
edit// as of right now i officially hate ABIT!!!!!! I have tried a number of bios rev and each one of them get me an error. The lastest one will not work at all, earlier ones give me a windows hardware disk error after installing windows.
OMG I NEED HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!

do you have the raptors set-up right?
if so, if it does boot with out em, plug em in after windows boots, then see what happens and...
could be faulty sata cables or connectors on mobo
just 2 ideas

well see i know it cant be anything with the cables becasue before i installed the x2 and x850 everything was working great. I guess abit doesnt have thier bios flash and everything setup right to support the x2 and sata yet.
If use a standard PATA everything works. If i use PATA with SATA as first boot device(even if nothing is plugged into the ports) i get an error. this is really messed up and i dont even know what to look for on google to get help. LOL But thanks so far!!!

i figured the problem out!! Abit had an issue where you cannot use an ATIx800 series and an X2 processor. What a coincidence huh!! A gentleman in germany custom wrote a bios update for the AV8 and that fixed it!

well it took some deep digging into google but i finally found it, on abits site none the less. It was really wierd and scared me at first, but phew! Thanks for the careing though!!

a lot of people here use google to find info like that.....it's a great resource, better than Yahoo I think.
