As you can see in my sig my PSU is an 800 watt and i have noticed that my 3 pin power cord is only 5amps. should that not be a 13amp lead and if 5amps is not enough then what problems would this cause?

5amps is fine
5A x 220v = 1.1KW

The cable can run up to 1.1KW.
AMPS x Voltage = Wattage

All internal sockets in UK / IE can supply upto 13amps, which is upto ~2.8KW
You should only use a 13A fuse / cable if you need it, as in for electric heaters etc.

Using a 13A fuse on something that pulls ~3A defeats the purpose and doesn't protect the equiment.

cool well thx for the know how :) so i currently have my PC at 5amps, speakers at 3amps, monitor at 5amps and xbox at 10amps and all this draws 962 watts at full load so that means this draws 4.18 amps?
