sound trouble

Post by Merlin »

I am having sound problems. I have a woofer and four satelites but for some reason the woofer and the bottom two of the satlites are the only ones that work. I have checked drivers and configuration in the Gigabyte utility several times with no luck. My satelites are the two speakers stacked on top of each other that pivot. I have it set up as 5.1 surround and in that mode the center channel and the woofer channel are the only ones that produce sound. The center channel sounds the woofer and the bottom left while the woofer icon sounds the woofer and the bottom right. Any ideas??

What speakers are you running. I had an issue with surround sound until I figured out I had the switch for my Z-5300s set to 4.1 instead of 5.1.
