Sorry but I don't know squat about gaming headphones. Have you given a look at Corsair's headphones? Seems like they get pretty good reviews and don't break the bank.

I recently picked up a pair of Gamecom 780's that are fantastic. Definitely worth the look if you are shopping around.

If I have to choose between these headsets, I would go for Steelseries then simply because the design is better.lol

Why not try the Creative Fatal1ty Gaming Headset or Arctic P301. Both headsets have decent sound quality. :-)

I went through several cheaper brands before spending more (not too much) on a nice pair of Creative Fatal1ty Gaming Headsets. The sound is great, great for music and gaming and people have commented on how good my mic sounds on Teamspeak 3.

I did get them on a Newegg sale at one time. I think they run about $50-60 but I'm sure I didn't pay that much.
