This is my own example (not from the websites noted above)
For instance:
If one PC setup (x, for the sake of argument), performed a benchmark in 3 minutes, 32 seconds and the second PC (y) performed the same benchmark in 1 minute, 51 seconds, what is the performance increase in %? How would it be calculated given that the PC (y) has a smaller value (@ 111 seconds) than PC (x) (212 seconds).
I see stats similar to this on various benchmark or product review sites, such as this one, but I have yet to find one that reveals how they calculated the results.
Please bear with me, my math is a little rusty these days (old in plain english).
