I've never owned a SteelSeries mouse but I have owned a Razer and Logitech gaming mouse. The Logitech feels better in my hand and the software just works, it isn't a cluttered mess like Razer's software. Best bet, if can do this, is to find a place locally where you can put the mouse in your hand. It would suck to buy a mouse only to find out you hate the way it feels or it makes your hand hurt/fatigue.
