Buried by Haswell reviews While I have an i5 system now, I've always been partial to AMD systems, would love for them to make a huge comeback and overtake Intel for a little while. Get Intel working on major improvements.

AMD is going to have to do something huge to take over Intel. Maybe in this midrange category they have a chance but to go after the i7 processor's, AMD will need a miracle I think.

I just read a few Richland reviews and I think most reviewers missed the boat with their conclusions. Most of the testing was done against Core i5 and i7 processors. Shocker that the AMD looked out of place there. Then there wasn't much, if any, testing done with different speeds of RAM. I saw one review where they overclocked and tested the overclocked onboard GPU. I've built 2 APU builds for family and friends (Llano and Trinity) and I was equally impressed with both of them. It's not like the people I was building them for where coming from an i7 build.
