Ok, so I'm looking for suggestions on a new computer chair...

Few restrictions...not leather/vinyl and needs to be for big/tall guys :)

This is what I have now, lasted me about four or five years so can always go get this one again..

But I love the "racer" style of chairs...

If you use the armrests at all you will hate the needforseatus chair. I've had a few like that at work and they suck. It's easier to keep leather/pleather clean but the cloth seats tend to breathe better. If I were you I'd head over to a local Office Depot/furniture store and actually sit in the chair. Same reasons I can't buy a mouse off of the internet, I need to know how it feels in my hand.

I would rather be able to sit in it...but unfortunately Des Moines doesn't have many options...been thinking of a short trip to Chicago, Minneapolis, or KC though...

have to agree with major. i prefer to test the product out before i buy. like this chair i have now. wanted it as it was only £50 online but found the same one in staples. ok staples had it for £90 but after sitting on it and getting the right level of comfort i was then able to order it online due to price :)

I'm 6'7" and bought this one as a birthday present to myself.

I didn't want leather/leather-like either, but I did want something comfortable for my stature.

It's a little pricey and it's got a bazillion adjustments, but I'm not buying a chair for a very long time!

Would love to get a Herman Miller, but that's a bit more than I could afford for a chair :D Looks like I'm just going to Office Depot and picking up the one I have (just the newer model and different color).
