so I recently purchased this led TV and have noticed that the supported 1920x1080 resolution doesn't fit the display. about 1.5/2 inches of the screen is off display as if I need a second monitor to view it. anyone know why this is and why when tested in store worked just fine at that resolution?

the brand and model is in the title. minus the t off the end as the t is for the colour which is a titanium look. I have it hooked as vga and even tried the hdmi and get the same result?

Go into your video card settings (catalyst control center or Nvidia control panel) and change the scaling.
I noticed this problem on a lot of 1080p tvs (usually lower end ones though) but the 720p tvs seem to scale just fine for some reason...maybe i am weird. Ok, I AM weird but thats another post

it makes absolutely no difference. however it seems if I go into the TV pictures settings there is an option called pc position that if I click auto fit does nothing until I change the dot clock to -10 then auto fit and it works but I have to do this everytime I turn on my monitor

I am getting an dvi to hdmi cable to link up soon so lets see if that works
