Did i get lucky?

Finally inno3d got back to me about my card being replaced by overclockers uk. Then overclockers uk said that my inno3d gtx 980 is no longer available so I will get the gigabyte g1 gaming 980 instead. all is good
then I get a message explaining few hours later saying that I will be getting an asus dcu3 strix gtx 980 ti. would you say that's a win

yup, big time win! Too bad the GTX 980 Ti wasn't available as an upgrade to a GTX 1080 would have been a double win! The GeForce GTX 980 Ti is still a beast of a card.

they wouldn't do a 1080 upgrade as I asked and got a firm not possible as that would be a big loss to the company as they didn't even get the funds for the 980 back. they are at a loss so give me a 980ti? after asking how that came about it turns out the 980ti is b grade and was slightly cheaper than the g1 gaming 980 new. saved the company a little cash and got rid of the 980ti they had laying around. could I possibly have a card that might not be up to scratch?
