I am not even sure if this is right forum but I could not post a thread question in the forum section. So hopefully I could get an answer. I have a 6-month old ASUS Tablet PO27. I downloaded an excel file (via email) that I created in my laptop. While traveling, I kept on working in the downloaded excel file on the ASUS tablet putting formulas, formating cells, etc. Then save it on the tablet every time.

However, each time I open this file to update, my formulas and formating are gone! What's in the cells are just numbers! What's happening here?

Try following -

File > Options > Trust Center > Trust Center Settings > Protected View > Uncheck all options

File > Options > Trust Center > Trust Center Settings > File Block Settings > Uncheck all options.

If a macro is enable the formula will not stay. I disabled the macro, added the formula, and enabled the macro and it stayed in the cell.
