VCCPLL Voltage

Post by DJ Tucker »

Does anyone know what VCCPLL Voltage does as it lowers my temps form 56c to 53c when going from 1.15v to 1.05v

VCCPLL: Voltage used by the CPU clock multiplier (PLL, Phase-Locked Loop). This voltage can be changed through an option called “CPU PLL Voltage.”
Some are reporting that lowering this gives false temp readings.... https://forums.tweaktown.com/gigabyte/6 ... rrect.html

Again - any time you lower voltages, it should create less heat. 3c seems a bit much for a .1v lowering though....

Somebody with way more knowledge than I will have to answer this one.

exactly what I found. unfortunately no ones has given any reason as to whether this is true or not so have kept it at default 1.2v as xmp drops this to 1.15v
