I have two issues so please be patient !.

Post by Jameshah »

1 st issue - HDMI Cable
So I connect my pc to my TV to watch movies in a bigger screen and the hdmi connection is at the back of the TV and it is hard for me to always move it and to always repeatedly insert the HDMI at its back.

I am wondering if it is okay to leave one end of the hdmi connected to my TV 24/7 and just connect the other end of the hdmi to my pc whenever I want to use it and just leave it in an area when not being used.

2nd issue - your connection is not private error (been happening for days)
i’ve been getting a “your connection is not private error” for a few days. the specific error i’m getting is “NET::ERR_CERT_DATE_INVALID”. i’ve followed advice from various online sources on how to troubleshoot and solve this issue, but nothing has worked. does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? i cant access important websites i need for school. :(((

1. - yes it will be fine - If your tv is auto sensing you may have to manually change the input on your remote to get different hdmi connections to show up, that's all

2. - ugh - this one I had before and ended up dropping Chrome for good.

I. Try Firefox
II. Check date and time is auto, if not then turn them on, reboot and try again. If they are on auto then turn off auto and manually change the date and/or time and see if it fixes it.
III. Clear SSL cache - Clearing SSL cache can solve NET ERR CERT DATE INVALID error. It is a simple and easy method that you can try.

Press down Win+R keys at the same time to launch Run prompt.
In Run, type inetcpl.cpl and press Enter.
Go to Content tab.
Click Clear SSL state.

That is from - https://geeksadvice.com/fix-net-err-cer ... lid-error/

If nothing works (switching to firefox should) then you can do a refresh of Windows - https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/win ... c1fbceb8dd - make sure to do a REFRESH and not a RESET!!!
Remember, I am opinionated and nothing I say or do reflects on anyone or anything else but me :finga:
