So the big story this week is about Newegg reselling returned defective hardware.
Anyone else see this?
Newegg has always been my go to when I need to shop for hardware and buy 80% from them!
The other 20% goes to MicroCenter because there's one in the StL area!
This one hurt!

Talk about a disgruntled RMA department. I had to read up on it once I saw this post.
Personally it's either a failure in training or some very unhappy employees.
Honestly, my current build I purchased all the parts from Amazon. Newegg just couldn't beat the shipping.

After the debacle of the craptastic ASRock motherboard -
viewtopic.php?p=218111 - I may have bought 2 things from Newegg and NOTHING from ASRock.
It is sad a company like Newegg could fall so far.
I wish I had a MicroCenter around here! Closest one to me is down in Maryland. They have some awesome first time coupons PLUS they carry 3d printer stuff in the store!

A couple of my gaming buddies had a similar issue recently. One regarding a GPU 2070 super (DOA) and the other a CPU 11600k (could even run stock). They went through hell just to get it returned and refunded. They both went OCUK with my help with international shipping and spent a little more ($60 including shipping for GPU and $50 including shipping CPU, both used) for a product that worked from the get go. Newegg in trouble.

Lol remember my post on that and how i have lost all respect for asrock then asrock are the ones that ended up helping me after a couple months and found to be defective ram that worked in another board fine but not their own. They helped enough for me to buy another asrock motherboard that is in my sig and even replaced it after a slow, painful process (with proof of the fire) thanks to EKWB GPU Block leaked.

Personally I've never had any issues with Newegg.
Like KnightRid said, its hard to believe how far Newegg has fallen!
I've had 2 returns to Newegg and both went without issue!(Both my choice to return, no defects)
I had a bit of a go around with ASUS one time on a Mobo!
I moved my setup from one case to another and the system would not even turn on!
I worked on it for 2 days before I called ASUS, then went through 2 days & 4 calls to support!
The system would run out of the case, but not in it! When I told the guy what I did, he told me to put some electrical tape over the standoffs!
Damn if that didn't work! When I told him what case I was switching to he stopped me and made his suggestion!

They knew what was up!
BTW...That system is what I'm on making this post! Creepin' up on 10yrs old!
IMHO, MicroCenter Sucks! Its close to impossible to walk in that place and get out without spending more than my budget!

Gamers Nexus is trying to fix issues with Newegg return practices. It's a long video but worth to watch. They actually flew to California and met with Newegg executives.
