What a steal!

So I bagged myself a brand new intel 670p 2tb or should I say Solidigm 670p 2tb (intel sold it's SSD business to SK Hynix and they formed Solidigm from it) for £80/$100. That's cheaper than my wd blue 2tb m.2 sata SSD brand new. Speeds are quite good as well for the price. In fact price/performance is best on the market.

Nice - is that a deal over there? Here the 670p 2tb is $80. Don't think I have seen the other one yet...solidigm. I will have to look it up and see!

Amazing how far these have fallen in price.

Not a deal. Standard price. On sale maybe £65-£70 based on usual 10-20% off sales that we seem to have a lot on tech. That $80 though is a great price. Is that on special deal or full price? Also does that include tax?

https://www.amazon.com/Intel-PCI-Expres ... NU020TZX1/
https://www.newegg.com/intel-2tb-670p-s ... 6820167473

Amazon shows it as almost regular price, newegg says its $20 off - lol - tax here in the USA is different in each state, some don't have any sales tax. Here is Pennsylvania it is 6% so $4.80 tax.

Solidigm is legit drives, supposed to have the same wear level the Intel Optane drives did.

I grabbed a bunch of 1tb Optane when Intel had their fire sale. I use them as meta data drives for my TrueNAS server.

I'm eyeing up Solidigm drives for my next rig for the "bulk" storage drives.

Micro Center carries them if you have one near you.
