Is there any legitimate 3rd Party Service Plans? After 3.5 months of my mother's laptop in the BBY Service Center and that isn't including the two times it needed to be sent back, it looks like she is getting a new laptop.
She wants to get a new Service Plan with BBY, even though she admits their service sucks.
I was thinking of getting a third party service plan. I remember reading an article that talked about a company that started up selling service plans for about half the cost of the retailer's service plans and they covered accidental damages. Does anyone know of this company or any other?

Eeek
Service plans typicallly are terrible. I tend to stay away from them. Except for the rare case of the manufacturerers warranty coming at a big cut, and then only on notebooks. 3rd party warranties are a little bit worrisome.

I have to agree with the whole not getting a service plan thing. Nothing ever gets fixed. Basically all it is is $Xxx.xx amount in the vendor's wallet.Tim Burton wrote:Is there any legitimate 3rd Party Service Plans?
