question on agp rate

probably a dumb questionbut...i noticed under the agp settings on my video card properties window says the max rate is 8x on everything but the OS..the OS says is max is 2X..does that have any effect on my performance?and IF it does what can i do to fix it?

Where are you finding this info?
It's a 4x/8x AGP card but probably can only do 2x AA since the GPU isn't that powerful.

im findin this on the agp setting in the display properties..coolbits is installed though which is why im seeing this setting..says max agp rate is 2x for the OS which is weird..card says its runnin in 8X tho..so i dunno..just wonderin what the heck is up with this lol tryin to upload a pic but im bein a dumba$$ on that too
