Hey guys, I am making a recording, unforunately the computer records every breath I take. I was suggested that I get a noise cancelling headset/mic. Can anyone make a suggestion for me about which one I should get?

I like the Sennheiser, but I think the audio quality of the Plantronics DSP-500 is superior. Can't go wrong with either though, imo.

Ok, I like both, but one question. How do you guys game with those? While I need to record audio right now and save it, over the long term I would use it as a mic for TS and BF2, how could I use those without losing the great use of my speakers?

Ok, thanks for the info. One last question: Do you use the ear phones or the speakers when you are gaming with them on?

Well if you are looking for a good pair of noise cancelling headphones i can suggest a pair. I am trying to get a review done on my sharper image noise cancelling headphones.

I believe the headset I use is the Sennheiser PC160. It's the newest gaming headset from Sennheiser and has awesome sound quality. The microphone does an awesome job of cancelling out noise, that's for sure. I can listen to music on my stereo and use my headset and people on Ventrilo will never know. I checked my volume levels in Ventrilo and it just showed a 1 while recording with the music playing and me not talking.
I will NEVER use a speaker system for playing FPS games. A headset is far superior to speakers. Try it, go play Counterstrike with some nice speakers, then go use a nice headset and you'll be in love with the headset. You'll be able to pin-point people MUCH better with a headset... I don't care how expensive your speaker system is, a headset will kill it when playing sound sensitive FPS games like CS.
