i recently bought a new case with blue leds nearly everywhere lol..it even has a blue temp readout on the front panel..problem is.. twice i applied the lil "thermometer" and both times it doesnt give me the right readout or none at all..when i go into the bios to check the temps its way up 130 F..when without the guage its back down to 95 F..any suggestions on how to fix that? not a big issue but i think a temp readout would look better than the letter L on the display lol

Are you placing the sensor under your heatsink? If so....DON'T!!!!
If you place it under the heatsick, then you can;t get good contact between the cpu and the cooler......that's why you get higher temps.

either near the base of the hsf and the cpu or in one of the fins on your hsf near the centre of cooling, depending on which hsf you have
