How Is This For A Budget HTPC Setup?
How Is This For A Budget HTPC Setup?
Computers are a lot like air conditioners - they both work great until you open up windows.
ah....i would recommend if its for HTPC use an Intel Pentium D since intel is generally better with the whole encoding and stuff also u want a dual core that when u are encoding or converting files u can still use the PC.
Maybe a low end Intel pentium D not the 805 though thats only for overclockers. maybe the 820 although the 930 would be a good deal

and u can run it for a prolonged time w/o issues because of thermal protection if it gets too hot it'll auto shut off.
once again my opinoin if ur an AMD fan go for AMD.
btw.here is a little bit of info that may be useful.
