Prime95 oddities

I have been overclocking my dual core Opteron. It is now at 2.6GHz and running stable in Prime95. However, when I run the Small FFT Test, one core is "slower" than the other. Self-Test on one core is at the second round of 12K FFT length, but the other core is on the second iteration of the 10K FFT test. No errors have been reported on either core. However, the tests were started seconds apart. What gives?

EDIT: I also noticed that the "weird" test is only running two tests before moving on, where the other core runs four tests before moving on.

EDIT AGAIN: Both cores went two hours in Prime with me burning CDs, doing anti-virus/anti-spyware scans.

If you were doing other stuff at the same time, it's likely that one core was being used more heavily, and so would complete the prime tests more slowly.

Like Zelig said, one core would have been busy processing the CD/Virus things and prime95 while the other one was only doing prime 95.

also test for more than 2 hours

@ least 8hours running no other programs.....turn off the monitor and let it run
I normally run it over night for @ least 12 hours
Infinite runs 24hours
Some 72 hours
