New Camera: Canon SD600 56k WARN!!!
http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/contr ... 3&pageno=5
6.0MP
3x Optical zoom
2.5in display
This camera is my freaking hero!! I got it last friday (7th) from ZZF for $289 and $15 for overnight shipping. i have yet to begin to discover what all this thing offers. So far my favorite highlites that i have found are
when you take a vertical shot and turn the camera when looking at the picture, it will auto turn the pic for you like those wide screen monitors and auto adjust for the right ratio.
It has some wide shot sotfware built into it so you can take multiple pictures for a wide angle shot. so when you take a picture it will hold it there on half the screen so you can begin your next shot for the wide angle.
Some pics stiched together with the software
The video quality it does it amazing! at 640x480 @30fps is unbelievable for a camera this small.
(video is to big of a file to show even for a few seconds)
and the macro works pretty darn well. I am by far not a photographer, but with this thing i think i am. LOL
a close up on a $20
and some flowers from the wide screen from above..
and here is a night shot from the parking lot of my work
So if you have an SD series camera i am looking for some tips and hints and everything that this thing can do.

yeah i was actually quite supprised of the quality myself. LOL The dang thing is fast too. from start up to taking a picture is less than 2 seconds and less than that between picture taking (minus the preview)
if you are interesting in a nice camera i highly suggest this one!!!! I'm not complaining bout the price either $290.
