Help with error"...controller error on \Device\Harddisk

I to have this problem and have not even tried to find an answer. I have two sata 160gb Maxtors setup with raid 0 on an nvidia controller. I get the errors on both drives. Note that i don't use these drives for my operating system but i have noticed something interesting. I get the event viewer errors every night when i have scheduled defrags. I have a feeling it's simply a bug with the controller and thinking the drives are going bad when in reality they are simply being defragmented.

I reformatted everything (both my drives) I havent had any problems yet.

You don't overclock, do you? Cause overclocking can throw some SATA drives out the window, and any PATA controller that accesses the PCI bus will get messed too. The very act of booting, in these cases, would cause corruption.
