ya, that price is insane...not worth it yet.
comp specs- too lazy to make a cool looking sig... MB:GIGABYTE GA-MA790XT-UD4P, AMD Phenom II X3 720 Black Edition 2.8Ghz, CORSAIR TW3X4G1333C9DHX 4GB PC3-10666, ASUS Radeon HD 4870 512MB, SB audigy gamer, WESTERN DIGITAL Caviar Black 500GB, antec P180 case (extra 120mm fan and 80mm fan), Corsair HX Series 620W: ASSEMBLED June 2009
Dumbness. Too expensive. And come on, that thing would push IDE past its limits. SSDs are to take advantage of the bandwidth offered by SATAII....

Yeah I thought it was kinda odd for it to be IDE when SATA is the way to go these days, I bought the Ultimate something or another DIY computer thingy magazine that PC Gamer puts out every fall and it has 600$ worth of newegg coupons in it and one of them was for free shipping on these things, I wish I could find a review on one somewhere.
I'm still waiting for the 64GB PQI SATA drive from a few months back.

It was supposed to be out last month but I've seen no sign of it.
Not much better at only 32mbps, but these weren't exactly made for performance in the normal sense.
