Cheap and effective case?

Post by NAiLs »

I'm building yet another PC but this one is on a budget. I'm looking for a quality, but inexpensive case. The system is going to have a Core 2 Duo and probably a 1900XT or a 7900GT in it... that should give you some idea on heat.

No door, no window, nothing fancy.

Is Antec my great solution for such? I'm looking around, just want to get some opinions on inexpensive, but good quality cases.

Thanks!!

there's tons of cheap metal cases for 20$ @ pricewatch.com

just make sure if your buying a nice system, you replace the junk PSU with a decent one!

For $20 you're not gonna get quality.

If you want quality at a low price go for Cooler Master Centurion 5. It has a 120mm exhaust fan, 80mm intake fan, and lots of air holes. It is a quality case, the reviews speak for themselves. I have one and I love it.
