I use an Plantronics DSP500 - works great for gaming (it's the 510 now $39.99).
And I have the Logitech MX518 mouse ($49) - it has a lot of custom buttons and feels great. Got both at the same time last year. Both should be in your budget as they are not the newest models but you'll like them for gaming.

when it cames to audio quality, computer-part manufacturers like logitec won't do it. get a sennheiser (specializing in high end audio headsets) in this price range and you will not be dissapointed :finga:

it won't be high end for this price but will still beat anything out there in this price.

Can't go wrong with these:

Or at least a friend tells me so, all the time, and constantly pestering me to get a headset, and then even gives me a really old unused pair that only has output on one ear. :P
