Unreal LAN History
Unreal LAN was first started in Georgia back in 2001 by myself and a few friends. The name "Unreal LAN" was chosen because of our goal of running a LAN Party that was so fun that it was to be considered 'Unreal', the Un-real LAN Experience. While discussing the name, we weren't even thinking about Unreal Tournament at the time. Although, it just happen to work out that the favorite game of all the staff at the time was Unreal Tournament.
Due to family happenings during the time, Unreal LAN was closed and all plans were postponed.
Ever since I moved to Missouri almost two years ago I always wanted to start the LAN back up, and with the help of Xanlamin and Laclede's LAN, we've managed to get it back up and running to once again run LAN Events on a level to be considered -- unreal.
