Asus Z71V problem; Need wireless headphones.

Post by DeusEx »

okay heres the deal; i had my headphones plugged into my laptop while i was gaming but i needed to get up suddendly and i jerked the cord by accident and i think i damaged the little round hole where the cord goes from the headphones. No matter what kind of headphones i plug in, the sound no longer goes into them, but just continues to play through the laptops speakers =/.

Ok so i realize that its probably impossible to fix or replace since its embedded into the laptop, but what i was considering is getting wireless headphones. I dont have blue tooth, but i guess i can use one of those station plug ins if u know what i mean.

my budget is 100$. I looked around and here is what i found: "Sennheiser RS 130 Wireless Surround Sound Headphones". the specifications can be found here: http://www.pricegrabber.com/search_tech ... id=7777082
and "Sennheiser RS 140 balanced headphones"
http://www.sennheiserusa.com/newsite/pr ... sid=009927
Im just wondering are these headphones compatible? can i even use it with my computer? It said that u can use it wit ha dvd player and some other devices but im not sure. when i looked at the station that is meant to be connected to the computer It doesnt seem like a USB cord that would go into the port, but rather the round tip like one on my regular headphones. I just need to know if i buy them can im ake them work? [/url]
