nvidia control panel quirk?

nvidia control panel quirk?

i just used this just to see what it did and i saw this...found it kind of odd that it had my cpu core frequency that high lol...would be nice if that was the case :p

Looks like someone on Nvidia's end confused the Bus Speed and FSB.

Then the doubled the FSB, and used that to find the frequncey.

FSB should be 380, and Bus should be 1500 or so. Wow that's bad.

Fixed the extra img tags for you as well

yeah that new Nvidia control panel is a major pain to navigate and now its information isn't even accurate. and for what reason? Does anyone know why they decided to abandon their old panel that worked very well and was easy to navigate?

They wanted to make one that was more user friendly.

yup, it failed and they are not going back to the old style, so we are all stuck in the same boat.

Maybe it is because my vide card is a dinosaur, but I still can choose the Classic style to show the nvidia control panel.

Is it just me?

oh version 93.71 also - so it is the newest for mine.

Well if they arent going to go back to the old one they could atleast try again and give us yet anohter new one. I doubt anything could be as messed up and confusing as this new mess.

hell..the readings even flucuate...that one says 7600 ghz or whatever...just tried it again for the heck of it..now its sayin 5.6ghz lol...makes me wonder what they're smokin while workin

what's the problem?? Core 2's are just amazingly overclockable!! :rolleyes:
