Great way to get super slick mouse surface

I found that spraying Pledge (or probably any generic version) on a hard surface will make it super slick for your mouse if you like it that way. It should work on most desks and even gaming mousepads. I have a fUnc 1030 gaming mousepad and it has been worn out really badly. I just sprayed pledge on it and my mouse slides super smoothly again.

No, if you wipe it correctly and wait a bit for it to dry, it's not greasy at all.
