Missing options from Nvidia control panel

Post by The Black Pumpkin »

I'm trying to get into the display settings to prevent scaling on all programs, but the only options I have are as you see here.

Everything I've seen says there should be more options! :axe:
AMD Opteron 1224SE "Santa Ana" = DFI Lanparty UT NF590 SLI-M2R/G
Crucial Ballistix 4x1GB DDR2 800 = Corsair CMPSU-750TX
Sapphire 4870 1GB = Sceptre X20WG-Naga 20" = Logitech X-530 5.1
Seagate 320GB (SATA II) x2 = Samsung SH-S203B (SATA)

If you're talking about the 97.92 version, I had many missing parameters there as well, regarding video on secondary display.

I switched back to old Control Panel and made it through there...

You might want to try this procedure:

Open the registry via regedit and go to the following section
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\NVIDIA Corporation\Global\NvCplApi\Policies
Now you have to add the following dword entry
SedonaDisable
and change its value to 2.
After you have done this open the control panel (still the new one) and you should have an entry referring to the old control panel.

Try and fint the options you're looking for in the old control panel, I hope you'll find it...

Thanks, I'll give that a try when I'm not too busy.

I find hardware problems much easier to solve than software. It's too bad that they often come hand in hand. :|
