I have a DVD rom and a CD burner drive. When i put CDs in them they wont auto start and in my computer it shows that they are in there but they will not start up.
Any ideas on what i can do to fix it?

Do they play when you launch them from my computer?

If so it sounds like auto play is disabled, to enable it, follow these instructions for your OS.

i have a Cd/ dvd burner and then a normal DVD rom drive... the dvd rom drive will load everything but the CD/DVD burner will not, not even from my computer.

Just change your Jumper setting.. Change any one of them as primary and another one as secondary ,after change your jumper setting cd writer and dvd rom will work.
