Post by ibleet » Thu Mar 08, 2007 9:05 pm

This seems like a good deal on a 600w PSU. Im not sure about buy.com as I have never used the site.

And you'll be getting something not that great, I'm sure.

It's a good deal for a fancy paperweight, anyway!
AMD Opteron 1224SE "Santa Ana" = DFI Lanparty UT NF590 SLI-M2R/G
Crucial Ballistix 4x1GB DDR2 800 = Corsair CMPSU-750TX
Sapphire 4870 1GB = Sceptre X20WG-Naga 20" = Logitech X-530 5.1
Seagate 320GB (SATA II) x2 = Samsung SH-S203B (SATA)

True. I was thinking the same until I saw it had a lifetime warranty. I know theres more to a good PSU than a good price and warranty, but that goes a long way for a lot of people.

buy.com sucks the big one. They don't have the decency to email customers and cancel orders when there is a pricing error. Instead they lie and tell you that the item is on backorder due to a setback from the manufacturer. They do this even after they correct the price and their website clearly shows it is in stock.
Need to contact customer service? Good luck finding their toll free number on their web site, and when you do find it and wait on the line for what seems like forever, You'll end up talking to someone in India who will ask you for everything but your shoe size.
